Funeral Cards · a Vorber studio
Legal
Plain English. This is a small print studio, not a software company. Hosting and insurance sit under Vorber. Prices do not include VAT — none is charged.
Who we are
Funeral Cards is a Vorber studio. The website, servers and insurance are Vorber’s. We design and print memorial orders of service in the UK and post them signed-for. We are not a CRM, a funeral director, or a church.
Your approval
You are responsible for the final wording, names, dates, hymns, readings and photograph. Check the proof carefully. Once you submit (or tell us to print), mistakes cannot be rectified on that order. A reprint is a new order and a new charge. A screenshot of the watermarked preview is not a print file — it is only so you can check the layout.
Preview and copyright
The on-screen preview is watermarked © funeralcards.co.uk. It is not licensed for print, reuse, or feeding into another AI to strip the mark. The finished cards we print and post are the only authorised copies.
Photographs and notes
You send us a photograph and, if you use it, notes for a eulogy. After the order has been shipped we delete the photograph and the generated preview from this system. We keep the order record (name, dates, service outline, address for postage) so we can deal with Royal Mail queries. Do not send anything you would not want a small print studio to hold until then.
Delivery
Orders received before midnight will aim to arrive within 3–5 working days, signed-for in the UK. An express service aiming at 2 working days is available for £20 extra. These are aims, not guarantees. Royal Mail and the service date are outside our control. If the funeral is inside those windows, say so before we print.
Paper
Printed on photo paper, one A4 sheet, both sides, centre-folded to A5. Gloss or silk depends on the studio printer in use.
Hymns
A church service does not, by itself, give us the right to print in-copyright hymn words on a card we sell. Licences such as CCLI usually cover singing in the service, not commercial printing. We keep full lyrics only where the hymn is in the public domain. For anything still in copyright we store the title only. You may paste words you already have; by pasting them you confirm you have the right to use them on this order. We do not check that for you.
Payment
No VAT is added. Pay into the Funeral Cards account we give you (a Vorber account kept separate). The order is printed after payment is received, unless we have agreed otherwise.
If something is wrong
If we printed the wrong file or posted to the wrong address, tell us as soon as you can and we will put it right. If the approved file contained an error, we cannot unwind that print run. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
